Hello Paul, It might be worth mentioning that I have used the Spyder and had a problem with it on calibrating my monitor (Lacie). Two other Lacies on pc and mac OS system worked fine. I assumed that there was something wrong with my monitor. I bought the Eye One device and have had no trouble with any of the monitors. So glad I never sent my monitor off for repair. The Spyder, it is also worth mentioning, was the second one, as the first one didn't work properly at all.
