Old Chinese proverb "If its too good to be true then it is" -:) There are quite a few scams on ebay where you are asked to send cash via Western Union etc. If someone offers to stop the auction its probably a scam. It is possible to hijack someone's account and post a spurious ad ,pocket the cash and disappear. If you suspect an auction to be a scam just email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the auction number and voice your suspicions, they will check it out.
