Dear List,

Does anyone know if either Nikon View 6 or Capture 3.5 are worth giving a go
on Mac OSX yet?
Hi Simon. I use Nikon View 6 on OSX but only for initial editing. It's the best way I've got of running them past me at full screen so I can junk them or not. I shoot dance and theatre so one photocall can generate 4 or 5 gigs of images from two D100s so its good for editing it down. I have no reliability problems with it either, on a laptop or my G4 desktop. I don't use the other functions though. If I want to process a raw file there and then I pass it onto Photoshops raw converter. I've got capture 3.5 aswell but until I can get a much longer tether cable for it (which may have it's own problems) it's had one test and been left alone. If you're in a studio with the laptop attached to the stand or tripod it's probably got some value.
