Hi

I think it's always worth remembering that anyone could join the list, and
could access the archives. I try to re-read any post before sending with
that in mind.

Your experience is unfortunately not that unusual. Some people may recall
that I posted notice of a review of ColorVision's PrintFIX a while ago.
After doing a search of my web logs I found that the whole article (inc.
images and my copyright notices from another page on my site!!) had been
copied onto a commercial site. Even some of my links had been modified to
point back into the sales section of their site! During my investigation I
conversed with a photographer in the US who had had one of his reviews from
a mailing list taken and used on the same site.

The site owner (who is rather well known, but I will refrain from naming
since my stuff was removed promptly) responded to my demand to remove it,
but left the other stuff in, saying it had been on a public list...

Needless to say I keep a careful eye on the original site where my stuff
appeared - they are also unlikely ever to get a link from any of my links
pages :-))

bye for now
