>From currently available gear I like basICColor Display bundled with
their Squid (this is made by Gretag owned Sequel Imaging and the same
internal device as iOne and Monaco Optix) , or (in an about to be
released update) it can also be used as an upgrade for the eyeOne. So
I've started selling it.
Eye One display is a close second (bit less similar to a verified
printed page but still very good).
When Thomas and I did our 2002 Seminars we used basICColor SW, it was
streets ahead of anything else for accurate softproofing against a
verification image in a light cabinet. (we used it with the
discontinued eyeOne Monitor. Squid /iOne Display/ Optix devices were
not available then).
