Good morning ladies & gentlemen A quick question regarding whether a printer should be left on or off if not being used for a while - 5-7 days say.
Epson 2100 with CIS which has, up until now, been left on constantly & printed perfectly (thanks to the profiling expertise of our own Mr Barstow). For the first time ever - about 2 months, it has suffered a head blockage. Gave it about 3 clean cycles last night, left it, gave it another nozzle check this morning ---- still blocked on the full black. Now onto the 'windolene trick' I seem to recall reading somewhere - probably on this list - it's favourite to leave on as the heads park up & the sponge thingy stops them drying out.
