Leave it on at the mains, but off at the printer button.
Does this really make a difference? I have a 790, and have to clean the heads 2 or 3 times almost every time I use it, it's costing a fortune in wasted ink. Always the black. I always leave it switched off, but I disconnect the mains. I'll try leaving the mains on!
