Hello Group, I've started working with an art director, very experienced and an old hand, though it's been about 15 years since we last worked together. He's very reluctant to use disc images, citing problems with printers on previous jobs (mainly books and magazines). He's really keen that I submit film, or even an excellent inkjet print (not simply as reference but to scan from - a roundabout way I can't understand), and feels that you will always get a better result this way. Is there a difference, if both scans are of a high quality, between (a) submitting a scan; or (b) letting the repro house generate it's own scan. Also, what are your thoughts on using an inkjet print as the source print to scan from? Dan
