I wanted to make a bootable clone of my primary OS X system harddrive.
First I tried Carbon Copy Cloner but it crashed everytime in the middle of the cloning process even after repairing permissions etc. Then I bought the Personal Back-up software from Intego. It is also very easy to use, but the same problem ocurred here. Computer crashed in the middle of the process.
Anyone here who has the same problems or has another method of making a bootable exact copy / clone of the main HD ??
Have you checked that Carbon Copy Cloner and Personal Back-up are compatible with OS X yet?
Some hard disk softwares, like Norton Utilities and Disk Warrior, are only now just releasing their OS X upgrade versions.
Perhaps check their web sites?
