Welcome Jonathan Before you invest your money in high-end digi-kit, it would be a good idea to get something like a Canon G3/5 digicam and get used to way chips see light. Takes a fair bit of getting used to, as analog film and digital capture are radically different to each other. Once you get into a digital workflow, you will never go back to using film.
