Maybe there's something odd about your monitor profile. As far as I know all three apps should pick up and use the monitor profile from what's set in the monitor system prefs panel.
Changing monitor profiles doesn't do it so I set up another user in OS X, everything matches everything else. Photoshop views correctly in both users, Kodak and Preview do not. I presume something is corrupted in the former user settings in OS X. All I have to do now is import every single setting from the old user to the new. What bliss.
