My partner went into the local Jessup's with her daughters digital wedding snaps taken by
a pro, all checked out and colour corrected etc here.
The results varied from good to washed out and the store manager essentially said tough
luck,its all automated so no correction can be done
Jessop's are calibrated according to Fuji's in-house colour loop.
One part of this is set to "adjust" any JPEG files that it identifies. It looks like this is aimed at compensating for amateur bad exposures, but the effect on well exposed pro images is disastrous.
However if you input TIFF's this automated adjustment does not kick in and you should get a predictable result. The staff are told to say it does not accept TIFF files, but in fact they do.
