They have absolutely no idea what is going on in their machines, that is the beauty of CM. You give them a file, in sRGB and remarkably, the sort of person who you would not normally trust to carry coal (sorry about the northernisms) and should still be hanging about bike sheds, worrying about acne, hands you really accurate pics. Do not make the mistake of trying to talk to them about anything more taxing than weather.
