Perhaps SG is too far from what the SW expects to calculate errors
properly?

I think the <photo> SW is great - for testing papers and getting
initial (dare I say amateur) profiles out, it works quite well with RGB
profiles of <normal printers> but we can't expect it to compare with
ProfileMaker pro. can we? Effectively you're getting that SW free with
the iOne. It's a good starting point.

if you read with your eyeone into the demo of Gretag <Measure tool>
(part of the profilemaker pro download)  and average multiple charts
I'll make a profile for you using Profilemaker pro and your own
readings (at a cut rate, since I don't have to measure).
