No... I'm just recalling stuff
that was told to me and what I've read in the past. At some conference
about 20 years ago, I was complaining to somebody who worked at Kodak about how
Kodak never seemed to introduce any film improvements until prompted by
competition... and this person then explained to me how little the "pro" market
meant to Kodak's bottom line. The figures for pro sales were just a blip
compared to the millions and millions of rolls of amateur film sold
annually. Within the last year or so I read an article in the
Wall Street Journal which explained how disposable cameras were keeping Kodak's
