Good suggestion but it didn't work. It reset the palettes but not other stuff... for example, when I try to open a new document that doesn't match the working color space, the "mismatch" dialogue box doesn't appear in visible space... and there's no way to proceed. Is there a file I can delete (XP version, remember) to make PS go back to it's totoally default (as new) state?
