Hi Rick

I have had the same problem, and regrettably not found the solution. Only
way I got my rogue pop-up's back was to reconnect a second monitor and drag
them onto screen 1 (where they then stay next time they pop-up). Any chance
you can borrow a monitor temporarily where you are? Not elegant, but
quicker than a reinstall.

Phil
