As I've only used my RZ twice in the last year, I'm trying to work out
whether there is any likelihood that a sensible digital solution will be
available in the next two years.

By that I mean a back with a sensor big enough to make a 50mm lens appear to
be wide angle, and at a price comparable to (or preferably less than!) a
Canon 1Ds body.

When Foveon sensors were first released, it was implied that sensors would
become 'cheap as chips' (pun intended).

Is this likely to happen, or should I sell the whole kit and think about
investing in system that is set up for digital (like the Hasselblad H1) in a
couple of years time?
