As the person who asked the particular question of relevance of
organisations, I'm hoping that that I don't have to wander around with some
huge cumbersome bit of kit, just to regarded as 'serious' :-))  As to LF
forums, why not set up your own Yahoo group - you can make it as moderated
and selective in its membership as you like - or suggest a new forum for
dpreview?

My question was concerned with relevancy to the business of earning a living
from photography, irrespective of what technology it is carried out with.

I'm getting the impression from the responses that there are organisations
that will be of use if you or your clients value letters after your name,
but that for the digital side of things there ain't much more? Am I getting
the wrong impression here?
