I absolutely agree Bob, and in the pursuit of ultimate quality all these things are important. But sometimes sufficient quality has benefits over ultimate quality. I rarely shoot anything that will be repro'd bigger than A4 so if I'm shooting still life in the studio I will use the Sinar fitted to a Sinar P in 4 shot mode. If I'm shooting models in the studio I'll use the Sinar fitted to a Hasselblad in single shot mode, If I'm shooting garden furniture on location, I'll use the Canon 1Ds. Its portability and ease of use becomes more important in that situation than ultimate image quality.
