Ah.. I see.   To be honest I'm not really a big photoship user. I'd always
assumed the four partitions were so you could used spare space on multiple
drives.   Experience tells me it would be better to use one to avoid
switching the heads between partitions but I suppose it depends a lot on the
kind of work you're doing and what volume of data you're working with. I'm
working mainly in motion graphics so therein possibly lies the difference.
