Dear list,
I joined the list a few weeks ago, read the guide lines and missed the bit about the intro, my apologies.
I started seriously working as a photographer in the London editorial world about 12 years ago, then gradually moved into corporate Annual reports where my work and income has thrived.
Around 5-6 years ago I picked up a mouse and now around 80% of my work is digital. I love it.
I treat the digital camera as another tool to go with the film cameras and decide with the client what is the appropriate route to take.
My interest is not retouching or manipulation, it's the power to see what I'm doing as I make the pictures and the ability to make my prints in the digital dark room, that makes so much sense.
Hats off to Kodak, Fuji, Nikon etc. and the passion of the folks on this list who are driving this revolution on.
Cheers
George Brooks
