I called ACDsee the king of slowness in a Mac ,after having tested them all. The browser is worst than the PS7 equivalent . Don't know if a new version has improved its speed. It does wonders in PC though. As other apps, I guess it has to do with the bad coding( compiling you name it) from a native PC app towards Mac what provokes this situation.
