Hi Steve, I spent ages and ages trying to do the almost the same thing (except it was 10.2 to 9.1) and could never get it to work. Apple phone people helped, as did the database of stuff on their site, but none of it to any avail. As i remember, it couldn't be done for some reason, but perhaps someone out there has done it, or maybe things have changed, so take that with a pinch of salt.
In the end i gave up, the work-around being to transfer the files over by ethernet to the print computer, and then print from there.
