[PRODIG] IBM Microdrive failure

We have recently done a shoot but the microdrive now makes a clicking 
noise when placed in a card reader and does not show up on the mac and 
the camera now says there is an error with the card.
Can anyone offer any advice or help as to how to access the data on the 
card?
