Hi, We had exactly that problem with a 1GB IBM micro drive earlier this week. It refused to show up when placed in the card reader. If we left the card in the reader then unplugged it then left it for few minuets before plugging in again it then showed up and we recovered all the images. The question in now do we trust that card as when we reformatted the drive it works fine and subsequently appears correctly.
I have a question about formatting, and I don't mean a quick format that just removes the directory, can it be done? I note that the format is DOS PC based.
