I've started this as a new thread but it links to Johns earlier post. 
As we digital users have so many black/silver boxes requiring battery 
power, I've been meaning to get as power inverter for the car in order 
to keep everything topped up on the go. Assuming that some of you are 
using these already:

1/ Does anyone have a preferred brand/supplier/specification for an 
inverter?

2/ This is the very silly idea section. Assuming that I get an inverter 
rated at over 1000w is there any reason why I couldn't run two Classic 
500 heads off it?
