Just started experiencing a serious problem and not sure whether it's a photoshop/OSX glitch or a hardware issue.
For the record I'm using an Emac (combo) running Mac OSX version 10.2.4 and Photoshop 7.
The glitch is this. I was working on an image recently and had a reference book beside me, being completely absorbed by a particular chapter reulted in the Mac being inactive for some time. Without warning Photoshop just shut itself down, no chance to save any currently open images!!. Hoping this was a one off occurrence I didn't think much more about it, until today. In the middle of retouching a work related image the same thing happened again. I also noticed that an action that had been recorded during this particular session had been erased.
Would be extremely interested in hearing comments from anyone with any experince/knowledge of this, I've obviously been the victim of Photoshop freezing when using previous operating systems but I certainly haven't heard of this one before.
