Dear list, Have been using my sigma 105 macro ex lens for some studio work on my d100. I am getting a rectangular mild blue shape appearing in the middle of the shots, which is in the same place when portrait or landscape. I have never noticed this before. I am thinking it must be a reflection of the chip on the back element.
I am shooting on white background for cut outs, it also appears on more solid shots as well with no white background. It is most noticable on black and dark colours, like dark blue. I seem to remember people talking of this a while ago. When I changed to my tokina atx pro 80-200 f2.8 zoom it went immeditely. Leading me to think that its something to do with macro lenses. I havent yet tested with my sigma 50mm macroex lens to see if that also does it. If anyone else has had this problem have they had any luck with tamron, tokina atx pro or nikon macrolenses. Many thanks Ian Reynolds =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
