Dear All

A quick question that I'm sure someone out there can possibly answer & may
have experienced something similar.

        A 2100 running a CIS.

The spongy strip thing has a rather large amount of ink (seemingly cyan &
black) soaked into it about 2 inches eitherside of dead centre and a load
more (black only) about an inch in from the extreme left of the carriage.
It's the centre one that's causing the most noticeable problem as the paper
guides have picked it up slightly so it smears onto the paper.

I can't fathom out why because if the CIS cartridges were 'leaching' it
would surely be at either the parking end or extreme left of the carriage.

The printer is raised about 1/2" off the surface the bottle rack is on.
Could it be the 125mm bottles have just been topped up?

I'm currently soaking it up with tork roll &, short of getting the hairdryer
out I'm not sure what to do next or indeed why it's happened.

Any clues or solutions out there?

Thanks in advance

David Preutz
