When I used the Spyder and Optical (lacie 22" Windows XP) I also had a
problem with slightly warm tones and tones of pinks in the neutrals. I
changed to the EyeOne (GM) with Profilemaker Pro and had no warm tone for
a time. After a while, though, my monitor developed a flicker and, if
memory serves me right, the warm tone came back. I sent the monitor back
to Lacie and they replaced it.

The same Spyder calibrated two other Lacie's in the place with no such
warm tone. Might be a problem with the monitor, a factor you have not
mentioned.
