Come on guys ...... Looking at shot 10 (the lion wherever it may reside on the south bank) if I couldn't manage to get a bit more (or even some) detail out of the upper /hi light tones ie get my exposure right - maybe I should re train as a plumber or something. What is going on with 'PROFESSIONAL' photography at the moment??????? The fact that most of the general public have the visual acceptance of a myopic rat is beyond me. We're meant to be driving the standards UP NOT down to a level of mediocrity and 'that'll do'. We seem to be doing nothing to help ourselves, our profession or our bank balances in this - disposable society of 'buy it today. throw it away tomorrow. latest xx Mb chipped. full frame blah blah blah. Etc nonsense. The bloke next door who's just picked up 64k on the old lottery/who wants to be a millionaire. Got himself the latest full frame something or other. 2gig multi processor stainless steel housed whotsit, all the cards & lenses. Full on p/shop Still hasn't got an eye but knows how to ........... I give up. Let me know when Kodak make a chip that's as much fun to have around, expose, process and print as a roll of Tri X Thought I'd throw this one out. We obviously have to move forwards & digital is the way as the old silver route is on the way out. I guess there's a few old traditionalists out there who moved from grain to pixels Night all =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
