I just don't know !
When I start the computer up the picture is intermittent and lots of "snow"
If I start up on the vga cable its fine.if I then switch off the monitor swap cables
switch back on its fine.

Placing the monitor on this office computer using the same cable and no problems.
I can only deduce its the card.
I'm going to swap cards this weekend ,Ill let you know if it makes a difference !

Yes, certainly have and they match very well.

Actually even this Liteon 19" LCD attached to my office machine is better than My
21"iiyama or 19" Mitsubishi CRTscreens.
I can see shadow detail easily and highlights are not washed out.
I wonder if the "snob factor" comes into play here?
I certainly wanted to get the best I could hence the Eizo but suspect that a "lesser"
monitor would have done the job as witnessed by George Brooks who is happy with his
Mitsubishi LCD !
Interestingly the Eizo cost less now than my iiyama 21" did when I bought it 6 years
ago.
