I will but the list authorities will be round with the red hot poker for
posting in HTML :-)

> Is anyone having problems with their 15" G4 Powerbook screens ?

My brand new one developed a stuck pixel just below the menu bar, but after
a rest and gentle pressure to the screen, it is fine (be very careful if you
try this at home folks)

Unfortunately quite a lot of manufacturers will not replace single pixel
defect screens. The Apple (US) guideline is "Replacement Guideline: 8 stuck
pixels in a small area of the screen"

You could always specify defect free when ordering new screens, and making
this term 'of the essence' in a written order. Then again, having the odd
stuck pixel is the price you pay for having affordable LCD displays :-(

I don't actually use the Powerbook for any critical operations, but I did
use my Spyder and it seems nice and even, with a good greyscale. However
given I just replaced my dead G3/500 with its fading screen, it would look
good!

bye for now
