Rob, Try a SCSI converter, if you have one. (SCSI
to Fire Wire) Otherwise, without the port there is not much you can do. Check your PC SCSI port. What kind is it?
Adaptec have most updated drivers on their Site. Download the updated driver For your card and reboot. WIN XP will see it after that. Have you installed the SCSI card software
for your MAC G4?- The CD is PINK, all I can remember… Andreas Original Message----- Hi All I've borrowed both a Polaroid
Sprintscan 4000 and a Nikon Coolscan III LS-30 for the weekend. Both seem to require SCSI ports, and
of course I've neither in either my PC or Mac G4. The PC has a port the lead
(50/25 pin SCSI) will fit into, the 25 point end that is. Although when either
scanner is plugged into this slot the PC can't or won't see it. Anyone any tips on how I can get
either scanner to work with either computer? Thanks Yours Rob Mac |
