If its too good to be true then it is.

Just that

Although not a prodig subject it actually does affect us all,we after all constantly
look
for more equipment and the worlds shops are now on show to all on the web.
Sadly there are still instances where money overtakes sensibility.
Ive bought and sold gear using ebay
So far 100% bullet-proof.
Ive been very fortunate in that list members from both this List and a couple of others
have taken the time to check out addresses for me before Ive tried to buy anything on
Ebay from a foreign country.
If you search Ebay for your chosen bit of kit on a daily basis the fraudsters will
stand
out ,
3 day auctions, Western Union Money transfer ,variety of high value goods.
All this should set alarm bells ringing

When I was actively looking for some specific kit, 14n etc, on a daily basis
Every time I checked there were obvious fraudsters advertising.
emailing [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the item number ensured that the advertisers ad was
withdrawn almost immediately.
Sometimes this was several times a day
I believe that Ebay will eventually fail due to the inadequate policing of a
potentially
great system.
They actually rely on you, the user, to police the system.
Most unacceptable.
