Hi all, After finally upgrading last old mac to OSX, have discovered that baby Umax Astra 6400 scanner (for low res scans only!), is not supported under OSX 10.3 UNLESS you buy 'Silverfast' software from some US website for $60!
Has anyone else on the list had to purchase this software...is it any good? I downloaded a demo and it seemed OK..... Is there another way to get this cheap (�100) scanner working? I'd rather not have to fork out more money just to run a cheap scanner....
