Dear Tal I use a Powerbook for all my location work and find when the screen is viewed at different angles it varies greatly in brightness (unlike the really good Cinema screens). Consequently I don't retouch using the Powerbook and always wait until I can download the images to my desktop G4 with calibrated CRT screen. You can connect a second (CRT or LCD) screen to the Powerbook but I not sure that it's possible with the ibook. So unless you have another computer to do the retouching etc.. on, then I would recommend buying the Powerbook with and extra monitor to plug in when needed. Hope this makes sense!
