Dear Tal

I use a Powerbook for all my location work and find when the screen is
viewed at different angles it varies greatly in brightness (unlike the
really good Cinema screens). Consequently I don't retouch using the
Powerbook and always wait until I can download the images to my desktop G4
with calibrated CRT screen.

You can connect a second (CRT or LCD) screen to the Powerbook but I not sure
that it's possible with the ibook. So unless you have another computer to do
the retouching etc.. on, then I would recommend buying the Powerbook with
and extra monitor to plug in when needed.

Hope this makes sense!
