Alt + 0169 doesn't work either. No idea why. Denis Mark: Hold down the ALT key and type in 0169 on the keypad (number keypad) © If you are trying to do this to "watermark" your images, and don't care about the loss of metadata, you can enable the "security" feature while running the Automate >> Web Gallery function and you can print a large or small © or a string of text of your choice over the image. If you want to watermark your logo, or some other graphic file it's possible to do that as well, but works best if you save the graphic as an "eps" file first, and then use the "place" feature in photoshop.
