I am looking at possibly purchasing an i-Book or Powerbook. The

is any specific advantage monitor wise of the Powerbook over the i-book

i-book or 15 inch Powerbook as a comparison.
It may be worth noting the 12 inch ibook (which I use) has the same resolution as the 15 inch and despite being somewhat low in other specifications does a fine job of basic location based work. It is cheap and packs away nicely.
I am interested in others views as to whether the power book screen is better as I find the ibook screen fine for basic balance and exposure checks in Capture One but never use it for final processing and retouching as I do not consider it anything like good enough compared to my calibrated CRT.
Still; it displays captures more than good enough for proofing, stores them easily and play itunes as well. Try doing that with a polaroid back.
