Chris,
the chances are you will get this with a 14n without a polariser as well.
It happens with some lenses,on my 14n it went from Magenta to Cyan !
Its worth spending the �950 and having the camera rechipped with the new CMOS ,its 
visibly
better than the 14 especially in shadow / dark areas.
Ive use a Polariser on a 70-200 IS lens with no visible detrimental effects using a
rechipped 14n
Its also worth checking the Kodak website to see if they list your lens and have a
compatibility issue
