Dear Jonathan, Don't give up! I have a Diamond pro 920 myself and although it has the most exasperating controls it is definitely possible to adjust the RGB guns independently. Press the "exit" button (!) to start - right arrow twice to get to the RGB section - "select" once will show option 1 RGB custom - "select" again gives you the red gun - right and left arrows step through the green and blue. Unlike some other Mitsubishi monitors there is a % figure for the level as well as the bar, which saves having to make a post-it note scale, but for some reason the level changes in weird increments so when the i1 asks for 63%, for example, I have to choose between 62.7% and 63.3%.
