I'm not sure what you mean here. The SLRn shoots tethered as does many DSLRs and when I'm not shooting on my 4x5 scanback I use my SLRn that way. As far as I know there are no very wide angle shift Nikon lenses and if there are I would doubt that the image quality is better using them than that obtained by tweaking the perspective in PS.
