Would Martin or anyone else like to suggest what they believe to be are the "best" digital lenses for DSLR's?

I am getting the fringing with a Nikkor 10.5 fisheye, when using the "Rectilinear" conversion in Capture. I cant use the Aberration feature in PS CS, as the fisheye image is the original NEF.
Can anyone suggest a workaround?
