I experienced an odd phenomena whilst using my Dimage 7 on holiday,or when I returned.
A number of snaps had disappeared, they were raw files.
when opening in Minoltas software after copying from the Micro drive several of the
lost
shots opened that did not appear as thumbnails.
for instance clicking the file with a boat as the thumbnail resulted in a view of the
Italian Alps opening.
I suspect that when I changed batteries on one occasion that the files had not finished
being transferred from the buffer.
I'm glad they were just holiday snaps and will make sure writing to the drive is
complete
in future
