Call Orange support for data services on 156 and ask them to help you set this up. I work thru an IR link from phone to PC laptop and it works fine. There is no relationship with your IP....in this setup Orange GPRS effectively becomes your IP. There is no need for a username and password as such because it is your mobile phone that is connecting to the system.
One caveat....in spite of the offered improved connection speed this is dependent on how busy the system is....the more demand the slower it gets.
