[PRODIG] lyson ink blockages

I’ve been asked to resolve a problem regarding lyson’s continuous ink system on an Epson 2100. When used it keeps blocking up the black. After several attempts at cleaning it the problem keeps occurring and doesn’t clear the problem. It sounds to me that it could be that the heads blocking up due to lack of use. Does anyone know a good way of clearing the blockage? I’ve thought of suggesting dipping the head in isopropanol to clear. Has anyone come across this or does anyone have any suggestions??
