Patrick, Have you tried booting in OS9 - not just running Classic in OSX? I had a similar problem to you (Pocket Drive), it wouldn't mount in OSX but did in OS9. If, in OS9, you still can't mount it, you can at least try some of the 3rd party solutions like Silverlining.
