Re my comments the other day about raw files looking over sharpened using a EOS1D Mk 2.
I decided to do a test today and took a shot first with the contrast +1, and sharpen 3, I then took the same shot with both at zero. These were using RAW files. I then processed them in C1, outputting them as tiffs and viewed them in photoshop. Both having all the same C1 settings applied to them. To my amazement the file with the sharpening and increased contrast was noticeably different to the other file. Thus saying in the 1D mk2 sharpening and contrast do affect raw files as well as jpegs.
