Dear James, Yes you can. You just need to use the network wizard in xp. And specify the firewire port as the network. You then need to do the same on both machines and then share the folders you need to copy across. It should pop up then. It works, it took me a while to get my head around, you need the work group to be the same though otherwise it wont see it.
